RULES OF THUMB: exempt from visa requirement are the USA, Australia, European Union member states and select South American nations WHILE visa are required by all African, Asian, Arab, Caribbean and most South American nations.

IF YOU REQUIRE A VISA please schedule your mandatory personal appointment early on at your nearest German embassy or counselate general, as there might be a wait of a few weeks, depending on your whereabouts:
Find your nearest embassy/counselate here
- Consult the website of your nearest German embassy or counselate general for
document/paperwork requirements
- Processing of visa then requires approx. 2 weeks after your personal appointment
… IF your paperwork was complete
- Visa Fee is 60 EUR
- We will issue formal letters of invitation. Please also consult us with any other queries you might have, so that we can support you:
